saying goodbye

 

it was cloudy when you said ‘goodbye’

and i replied ‘until next time…'

i slept for awhile but the dreams persisted.

how many days until tomorrow?

i use to believe that the big dreams were the best.

now i know that the best dreams

were the ones we shared.
